How this list is ranked
Ordered by the date we published the guide, newest first — nothing else. This list is not filtered by popularity, so a board that arrived last week sits above one that has been solved a hundred thousand times. It is the right list to check if you visit regularly and want to know what has changed since last time.
Where each board sits
Word Blast
The newest addition, and the biggest departure from everything else on the site. No colour feedback, no letter positions — just sixteen words and four connections you have to find before you lose four lives.
Deluxe Waffle
The newest guide on the site, written because more people were arriving looking for the 7×7 board than for anything except the daily waffle itself.
Waffle Unlimited
Split out from the front page so the daily board and the endless one each have somewhere to live.
Dordle Wordle
Added shortly before Word Blast, for players who found a single Wordle board finished too quickly. Two answers, seven shared guesses.
Wordle
The board that made the format mainstream, and still the cleanest expression of it. One word, six lines, everyone gets the same answer.
Waffle Game
The original board on this site and still the front page. It has had the most guide updates of anything here as new modes appeared.
Everything on this list is also reachable from the hot games ranking, which orders the same boards by solves instead of by date. New here does not mean untested — every board on this list is an established game with an existing player base, and what is new is our guide to it. When we add a puzzle we play it properly first, write up the controls and the strategy, and only then publish. If there is a word game you think belongs on this list, tell us.
